As the People Support Administrator you will be responsible for supporting and administering key human resources functions, to include payroll, medical leave administration, workers compensation coordination & employee records management. This role ensures compliance with company policies and applicable federal, state, and local regulations while providing exceptional service and support to employees and management.
This is an in-office position located at the Capstone office in Peachtree Corners. This position is full-time, working Monday - Friday 8:00am-5:00pm.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Payroll Administration
· Process and administer bi-weekly payroll accurately and timely for all employees.
· Review and audit payroll data, including time records, deductions, benefits, and tax withholdings.
· Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries.
· Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with payroll regulations and reporting requirements.
· Coordinate with Finance as needed.
Medical Leave Administration
· Manage employee leave programs, including Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), ADA accommodations, and other protected leaves.
· Guide employees and managers through leave processes and requirements.
· Maintain confidential medical documentation and records.
· Monitor leave timelines and ensure appropriate communication regarding employee leave status and return-to-work processes.
· Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company leave policies.
Workers' Compensation Administration
· Coordinate and manage workers' compensation claims from initial reporting through resolution.
· Serve as the liaison between employees, supervisors, insurance carriers, medical providers, and third-party administrators.
· Track claim status and return-to-work programs.
· Maintain accurate records and ensure timely reporting of workplace injuries.
· Support workplace safety initiatives and compliance efforts.
Employee Records Management
· Maintain and oversee personnel files, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality.
· Ensure compliance with document retention policies and legal requirements.
· Conduct periodic audits of employee files to maintain data integrity and compliance.
Licensure and Certification Management
· Monitor and maintain employee licenses, certifications, and credentials required for employment.
· Track renewal dates and provide timely notifications to employees and managers.
· Verify and document active licensure and certification status.
· Ensure organizational compliance with licensing and regulatory requirements.
Department Support
· Assist with HR audits, reporting, and recordkeeping requirements.
· Participate in HR projects, process improvements, and special initiatives.
· Provide administrative support for various HR functions and programs.
Requirements
Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered:
- Associate or bachelor's degree OR equivalent work experience to include HR certifications (HRCI, SHRM, CPP or FPC).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of Human Resources administration or HR operations experience.
- Experience with HRIS, Paylocity preferred
- Experience with payroll processing.
- Experience administering medical leaves and workers compensation claims.
- Experience maintaining employee personnel records.

- Understanding of FMLA, ADA, worker's compensation, and related employment laws.
- Excellent organizational and recordkeeping skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Proficient in HRIS, payroll system, Microsoft Office Suite and database management.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Working Conditions:
- Primarily office-based environment.
- Regular use of computer, phone, and office equipment.
- May require occasional attendance at meetings, training sessions, or employee-related events.
