Job Summary
We are seeking a Maintenance Technician II to support the maintenance, reliability, and continuous improvement of GMP manufacturing equipment and utility systems. This role is responsible for executing preventive maintenance activities, supporting equipment troubleshooting and repairs, and helping ensure systems remain compliant and operational.
The Maintenance Technician II works closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams to support equipment reliability, inspection readiness, and efficient facility operations in a regulated environment.
About the Maintenance Team
You'll join a Maintenance and Engineering team responsible for supporting manufacturing equipment, facility systems, and critical utilities used in biologics production. The team partners closely with Manufacturing, Quality, and Technical Operations to maintain safe, compliant, and reliable operations across the facility.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, utility systems, and facility infrastructure.
Assist with troubleshooting, installation, repair, and maintenance of production, laboratory, and facility instrumentation.
Ensure equipment and instruments are maintained and calibrated in accordance with manufacturer requirements and site procedures.
Maintain assigned areas to support inspection readiness and facility upkeep.
Complete maintenance work orders and supporting documentation in a timely manner.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, investigations, and documentation within CMMS and document management systems.
Assist equipment owners in evaluating maintenance requirements and equipment specifications.
Support qualification activities related to instrumentation and process improvement projects.
Escort and support vendors and contractors performing maintenance activities on site.
Assist with development and revision of maintenance procedures and documentation.
Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory, safety, and quality requirements, including FDA and OSHA standards.

Qualifications & Experience
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience, including at least 1 year in a cGMP, FDA-regulated, or biotechnology manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of maintenance procedures and techniques related to manufacturing and utility systems, including equipment such as autoclaves, CIP/SIP systems, incubators, analytical equipment, process tanks, and related facility systems.
Experience using Microsoft Office applications.
Knowledge of documentation practices within GMP manufacturing environments.
Preferred:
Experience with CMMS platforms such as Blue Mountain or similar maintenance management systems.

Location: Bothell, WA
Schedule: Wednesday – Friday alt. Saturday, nights 6pm to 6:30am
Compensation: $28.73 - $39.51/hour
