Description
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cybersecurity compliance and IA activities for standalone and networked classified systems, ensuring alignment with DoD, Air Force, JSIG, RMF, and local security policies.
- Oversee system accreditation packages, ATO support artifacts, Cybersecurity Operating Procedures, STIG compliance, audit log generation, and change management security evaluations.
- Coordinate with Government security offices to validate user access, ensure proper need to know, manage SCI access requirements, and maintain all required documentation for classified information systems.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, risk analysis, security testing, and validations to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems supporting mission execution.
- Provide senior level guidance to technical teams on secure configuration, system hardening, life cycle security requirements, incident response actions, and restoration of system security safeguards.
Required Qualifications
- Over 10 years of cybersecurity, ISSO, or IA experience within classified DoD environments.
- Demonstrated ability to independently execute senior level ISSO duties and oversee or mentor junior cybersecurity staff.
- Expert knowledge of JSIG, RMF, STIGs, ATO processes, audit management requirements, and classified system security protocols.
- Experience managing security artifacts, performing system accreditation tasks, conducting SIA reviews, and supporting complex test system environments.
Education & Certification
- Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- IAM Level I/II or IAT Level II/III certifications strongly preferred (e.g., CISSP, Security+, CISM).
Clearance Requirement
- Active Top Secret clearance.
- U.S. citizenship required.
