Overview
Join our Team in Waltham Forest as a Volunteer!
Volunteers make an enormous contribution to our work at Change Grow Live.
Last year over 1400 volunteers donated over a quarter of million hours of their time to our organisation.
Would you like to join our growing team of volunteers, and make a real difference?
Responsibilities
As a Criminal Justice Support Volunteer, you'll play a vital role in helping people rebuild their lives after prison. Working alongside Recovery Coordinators and local Criminal Justice Services, you'll support people through community orders and licence conditions, assist with assessments and one-to-one support, and help individuals access the services they need during their transition back into the community. Lived experience of the criminal justice system or substance misuse is welcomed but not essential.
What You’ll Get Out of Volunteering
- Personal Growth – Build confidence, learn new skills, share your expertise and gain hands-on experience in health and social care.
- Career Development – Access training, gain insight into the sector, and boost your CV for future opportunities.
- Make a Difference – Support people in their recovery and help create safer, healthier communities.
- Flexible Opportunities – Fit volunteering around your schedule with a variety of roles available.
- Join a supportive team – Work alongside passionate, friendly people who share your values.
- Feel Valued – Your time and effort will be recognised and appreciated.
- Travel expenses - reimburse all reasonable out of pocket expenses incurred in travelling to the place of volunteering and whilst carrying out any voluntary activities.
Whether you can commit a few hours a week or want to get more involved, volunteering with Change Grow Live is a rewarding and meaningful experience.
