Service & Maintenance Technician
Location: El Ejido, Spain
Department: Facilities & Services
What are you going to do?
As a Service & Maintenance Technician, you ensure the optimal functioning of buildings, facilities and technical installations, contributing to a safe, efficient and comfortable working environment for all colleagues.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on buildings and installations.
- Identifying, troubleshooting and resolving technical malfunctions.
- Testing and maintaining small electrical equipment according to local regulations.
- Managing and monitoring facility systems, including heating and cooling systems, access control, fire alarms and security systems.
- Supporting and coordinating external maintenance contractors.
- Keeping maintenance activities and interventions properly documented.
- Contributing to a healthy and safe working environment.
- Participating in facility improvement projects.
What do you bring?
You are a hands-on and service-oriented professional who enjoys solving technical issues and maintaining high-quality facility standards.
In addition, you have:
- A technical educational background.
- 3-5 years of relevant maintenance experience.
- Experience working with electricity, cooling systems and carpentry.
- Basic knowledge of automation and control systems.
- Good problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Fluency in Spanish, both spoken and written.
Additional certifications related to electricity, HVAC, maintenance or safety are considered a plus.
