JOB DESCRIPTION
The Security Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and controlling the strategies, policies, and security operations within the organization, with the purpose of protecting assets, facilities, personnel, and information. Ensures risk prevention, proper response to incidents, and compliance with internal and external regulations, contributing to the operational continuity of the business.
MAIN RESPONSABILITES
Integrate a security structure: Develop objectives, plans, responsibilities, asset protection systems, strategies, and guidelines that enable the administration and operation of the department.
Develop a management system: Establish policies, processes, guidelines, regulations, and standards for the integration of the asset security management system.
Develop a protection culture: Implement security awareness campaigns, create training plans for new hires, and provide security reports for active employees.
Risk analysis: Conduct risk assessments for each facility within the corporation to evaluate the level of risk at each site.
Security incident investigations: Conduct investigations related to the theft of products, raw materials, equipment, unlawful acts, and violations of codes of conduct or regulations, and recommend preventive actions in coordination with affected areas.
Electronic systems: Ensure the proper functioning of security systems, including CCTV, access control, and alarms.
Liaison with authorities: Maintain communication with public security authorities to obtain real-time updates on regional security conditions.
Security audits: Perform security audits across departmental structures and critical areas of the company.
External vendor supervision: Oversee, evaluate, and control services provided by private security companies.
Executive protection: Develop and implement an executive protection program for leadership personnel.
REQUIREMENTS
1. Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Public Security, Private Security, Criminology, Criminal Justice, Risk Management, Law Enforcement, or a related field.
- Master's Degree in Security Management, Criminology, Business Administration (MBA), Risk Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Professional certifications in security, investigations, or supply chain security are considered a plus.
2. Languages
- English: Advanced (spoken and written).
- Ability to communicate effectively with international teams and authorities.
3. Software & Technical Knowledge
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
- Advanced knowledge of security management platforms and electronic security systems, including CCTV, DDS, VMSLIVE, IVMS, access control, and alarm systems.
- Advanced knowledge of GPS tracking, communication platforms, and incident management systems.
- Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools.
