Title: Account Support Sr Analyst
Revenue Assurance & Reporting
Location: Belgrade, Serbia
Grade: 11
Position Summary:
The Account Support Sr Analyst is a financially focused role within Revenue Assurance & Reporting. Its primary purpose is to protect revenue and margin, by ensuring that services delivered and contractual billing requirements are accurately reflected in customer billing and that the associated costs to deliver those services are understood and controlled.
The successful candidate will combine strong billing and reconciliation capability with analytical reporting and targeted application administration. The role requires someone who can question what the data means, investigate discrepancies to root cause, coordinate corrective action and follow issues through financial and operational resolution. Quickbase and ServiceNow administration support this objective, while revenue assurance remains the role’s priority.
- Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Own recurring and ad-hoc revenue assurance activities, prioritizing the identification, investigation and resolution of revenue leakage, underbilling and unsupported billing outcomes.
- Compare services delivered, contractual billing requirements and actual customer billing; identify gaps, quantify financial exposure where data permits and drive corrective actions through closure.
- Perform detailed billing reconciliations across contractual requirements, operational records, source systems and invoices; challenge inconsistencies and validate that outcomes are complete and accurate.
- Investigate billing exceptions, missing charges, incorrect rates, unbilled services, duplicate or unsupported items and other discrepancies; document root causes and coordinate resolution with the relevant business owners.
- Analyze vendor costs and operational expenditure associated with service delivery; identify unexpected, unsupported or misaligned costs and work with accountable owners to validate, correct or prevent recurrence.
- Develop reporting that provides visibility of revenue, billing completeness, cost-to-serve, exceptions, financial risks, corrective actions and resolution status.
- Create, maintain and enhance Power BI dashboards, management reports and analytical views that support revenue assurance and financial decision-making.
- Extract, combine, manipulate and interpret operational, contractual, billing and financial data from databases and business applications.
- Perform ongoing data-quality controls, reconciliation and validation across source systems and reports; investigate root causes and coordinate corrective actions.
- Administer business databases and web-based applications, including Quickbase, covering data structures, tables, relationships, data maintenance, access and day-to-day application support required to enable revenue assurance and reporting.
- Provide limited ServiceNow (SNOW) user and access administration support where required, in line with defined business processes.
- Apply extended ServiceNow (SNOW) knowledge primarily to create and maintain reports, support data and configuration requirements, investigate application and data issues, and support User Acceptance Testing and system upgrades.
- Ensure that system-support activities are appropriately prioritized and managed without compromising core revenue assurance, billing reconciliation and financial-control responsibilities.
- Use Microsoft Excel confidently for detailed analysis, including lookups, PivotTables, formulas, data validation, exception analysis and reconciliation.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), system upgrades and implementation of new or improved processes, including validation of data, billing and reporting outputs.
- Document reporting logic, reconciliation controls, system-administration activities and user processes; create practical guidance and provide user support or training where required.
- Partner with Finance, Billing, Operations, Technology, Vendor Management and other stakeholders to investigate issues, agree ownership and manage actions through closure.
- Continuously identify opportunities to automate, standardize and strengthen revenue assurance controls, billing reconciliation, cost analysis and reporting processes.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment where priorities may change based on business and customer requirements.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in revenue assurance, billing operations, financial or operational reconciliation, data analysis, reporting, application administration or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in billing analysis and reconciliation, including investigating discrepancies between services delivered, contractual requirements and amounts billed.
- Strong numerical aptitude and a clear affinity for working with revenue, cost, billing and operational data.
- Ability to interpret complex data, question underlying assumptions, identify financial or operational anomalies and investigate issues beyond the initial report output.
- Experience analyzing vendor costs, operational spend or cost-to-serve data and following unexpected or unsupported costs through validation and resolution.
- Hands-on experience administering databases or business applications, with Quickbase knowledge strongly required for the role.
- Extended working knowledge of ServiceNow (SNOW), particularly report creation and maintenance, data and configuration support, issue investigation, User Acceptance Testing and upgrade support; familiarity with user and access administration is beneficial.
- Practical Power BI knowledge, including creation and maintenance of reports and dashboards.
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including lookups, PivotTables, formulas, data manipulation, exception analysis and reconciliation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail and commitment to financial and data accuracy.
- Self-driven, accountable and able to work independently, establish priorities and take activities through to completion with limited supervision.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while keeping revenue assurance and financial-control activities at the forefront.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with financial, operational, technical and non-technical stakeholders.
