1st Shift: Monday–Saturday, 5:30 AM–4:00 PM
2nd Shift: Monday–Saturday, 4:30 PM–3:00 AM

Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
Pay: $16.00/hour

Job Impulse is hiring an Entry-Level Maintenance Technician in Lapeer, MI for an automotive manufacturing facility.

This is a good opportunity for someone who is mechanically inclined, enjoys working with tools, and wants to build a career in industrial maintenance. You do not need years of formal maintenance experience. If you have hands-on experience with automotive repair, farming, construction, equipment, or similar work and are willing to learn, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment and machinery

• Help troubleshoot mechanical issues and equipment problems

• Support preventative maintenance activities

• Perform general maintenance throughout the facility

• Use hand and power tools to complete repairs and equipment improvements

• Respond to equipment needs to help keep production running

• Maintain a clean and safe work area

• Learn from experienced maintenance team members and continue building your technical skills

• Help wherever needed to support the maintenance and production teams

What We’re Looking For

• Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with your hands

• Experience using hand and power tools

• Hands-on experience in automotive repair, farming, construction, equipment repair, manufacturing, or similar work is a plus

• Strong willingness to learn industrial maintenance and troubleshooting

• Dependable work ethic and positive attitude

• Comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment

• Willingness to get dirty and take on a variety of maintenance tasks

• Team-oriented mindset and willingness to help where needed

• Previous maintenance experience is helpful, but not required
