Eaton provides a competitive total rewards package commensurate with applicable skills, knowledge, and experience and consistent with internal and external market practices. The annual salary for this role is $82,000 a year. This position offers a one-time $6,000 signing bonus.
## What you’ll do:
The Technical Sales Leadership Development Program (TSLDP) is a premier two-year rotational program within Eaton's Electrical Sector designed to develop future sales and business leaders. Participants gain hands-on experience through a combination of technical, commercial, and development opportunities while building a strong foundation in Eaton's products, solutions, and customer-focused sales strategy.
The program consists of two one-year rotations that provide exposure to key technical and sales functions. Participants will develop the skills needed to deliver value-driven solutions to distributors, contractors, consultants, OEMs, and end customers while building relationships across Eaton's businesses and customer channels.
Through structured training, mentorship, and real-world assignments, participants will strengthen their technical expertise, business acumen, leadership capabilities, and sales effectiveness, preparing them for long-term success within Eaton's Electrical Sector.
Year One Rotations (all located in Highland, IL)
During their first year, participants will complete two six-month assignments withing the marketing organization, gaining foundational process knowledge, customer insights, and business expertise through the following rotations:
- Regional Pricing and Pricing Operations – Pricing Team
- Commercial Marketing Specialist – Marketing Team
Year Two Rotation (all located in Houston, TX)
Participants will transition into an Inside Sales Engineer role at GEIS’s Houston Sales Office. In this customer-facing assignment, participants will apply their technical knowledge and sales skills to support customers, develop solutions, drive business growth, and prepare for future sales leadership opportunities.
## Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with a graduation date before January 2027 for February starters or June 2027 for July starters
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8

Preferred Qualifications:
- Overall cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher
- Demonstrated leadership experience within campus and/or community
- Ability to speak a second language
- Enrolled in an engineering or business degree from an accredited institution
## Skills:
Position Criteria:
- The first assignment will be in Highland, IL. The second assignment will be in Houston, TX.
- This role may include travel (up to 10%) within a local region as determined by the Technical Sales assignment manager
- This role may require the employee to maintain a valid and unrestricted driver’s license
