Senior Diesel Mechanic / Fleet Maintenance Manager

Join California's oldest and one of America's largest independent lumber companies. Ganahl Lumber is seeking an experienced Senior Diesel Mechanic/Fleet Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations for our fleet of 23 commercial vehicles and more than 50 forklifts supporting a 24-hour operation.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage repairs, diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and fleet readiness.
• Prioritize repairs to maximize uptime and operational efficiency.
• Track maintenance records, repair history, costs, and reporting.
• Coordinate vendors and oversee outside repairs when necessary.
• Drive continuous improvement, safety, and cost control initiatives.

Preferred Experience

• Truck brands: International, Peterbilt, Freightliner; Isuzu a plus.
• Forklift brands: Linde, Toyota, and Hyster.
• Diesel, hydraulic, electrical, and diagnostic troubleshooting expertise.
• Preventative maintenance planning and fleet tracking systems.
