Description

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; professional HR certification (such as CIPD, SHRM, or equivalent) is advantageous

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a Human Resources Business Partner, HR Generalist, or related HR role within a corporate or fast-paced business environment

  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment legislation, and labour law compliance relevant to Malaysia

  • Excellent understanding of business operations and the ability to think strategically about how HR can contribute to business objectives

  • Proven experience in talent management, including recruitment, performance management, and employee development

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships across all organisational levels

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and experience managing complex employee relations situations with sensitivity and professionalism

  • Proficiency in HR information systems and Microsoft Office applications

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment

  • Able to speak fluently in Mandarin and English.

  • Experience in BPO is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders and managers to understand their talent needs, challenges, and strategic objectives, providing tailored HR solutions and recommendations

  • Develop and implement people strategies that align with business objectives, including workforce planning, talent management, and succession planning initiatives

  • Support the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and offboarding

  • Act as a trusted advisor to line managers on HR policies, employment law compliance, and best practices in people management

  • Manage employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary processes, and grievance handling in accordance with company policy and legal requirements

  • Identify and drive organisational development initiatives to enhance employee engagement, retention, and performance

  • Contribute to the design and delivery of learning and development programmes that support employee growth and skill advancement

  • Monitor and analyse HR metrics and business data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement

  • Collaborate with the broader HR team to ensure consistent policy implementation and HR service delivery across the organisation

  • Support change management initiatives and help teams navigate organisational transitions effectively
