Senior Manager, Market & Functional Transformation Support

An opportunity to join Manulife’s Asia Regional Distribution team as a Senior Manager, providing dedicated strategic, analytical and delivery support to Market PICs and functional owners in advancing Agency 2.0 transformation priorities.

The role will work across markets and regional functions to translate priorities into executable plans, strengthen governance and delivery discipline, and provide senior leaders with clear insights for decision-making. The successful candidate will combine structured problem solving with hands-on project management, helping accelerate implementation and realization of business value across priority agency programs.

Position Responsibilities:

• Support Market PICs and functional owners in driving and overseeing the implementation of business initiatives and Agency 2.0 transformation priorities, ensuring clear milestones, ownership and follow-through.

• Enhance market capability and execution excellence by providing strategic, analytical and project management support to Market PICs on key agency transformation programs , accelerating rollout and realization of business value.

• Develop executive-level insights and communications, including presentations, business reviews, strategic narratives and decision materials, for senior leadership forums, governance committees and regional management discussions.

• Strengthen markets’ transformation governance and delivery discipline by monitoring progress against agreed priorities, tracking action items and key dependencies, proactively escalating risks and ensuring timely execution across markets and stakeholders.

• Provide structured analysis and insights—including dashboards, reports and performance reviews—to help Market PICs and functional owners make data-driven decisions, steer market direction, and identify key opportunities, gaps and risks in support of Agency 2.0 objectives.

Required Qualifications:

• 3-4 years of experience in major consulting companies;

• 1-2 years of in-house experience in life insurance, with practical exposure to agency distribution, transformation or related business initiatives.

• Demonstrated ability to support transformation initiatives from problem definition and planning through implementation, governance and value realization.

• Strong strategic and analytical capabilities, with a structured approach to problem solving and the ability to translate complex information into clear recommendations.

• Proven project management discipline, including milestone tracking, dependency management, risk escalation and coordination across multiple stakeholders.

• Excellent executive communication skills, with experience developing senior-ready presentations, business reviews, dashboards and decision materials.

• Ability to operate independently, manage multiple priorities and maintain momentum in an ambiguous, fast-changing regional environment.

• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build constructive relationships across regional functions and markets.

• High intellectual curiosity, sound judgment and a proactive, results-oriented and ownership mindset.
