Family Nurse Practitioner

Position Summary
The Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) provides comprehensive primary healthcare services to patients across the lifespan, including health assessments, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses, preventive care, and health education. The FNP collaborates with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct physical examinations and patient assessments.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and laboratory results.
• Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans in accordance with state regulations.
• Provide preventive care, wellness screenings, and health education.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.
• Ensure compliance with clinical standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current Family Nurse Practitioner certification.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) licensure.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and patient care skills.
• Experience in primary care, family practice, or related healthcare settings preferred.
