Job Description

As a Security Officer Reception in Fontana, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will manage badge access, monitor entry points, and help maintain a secure environment for employees and visitors. You will provide outstanding customer service, use computer or tablet systems to support access control activities, and communicate professionally with site personnel. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology-focused corporate location by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor registrations, and authorization requirements before permitting entry to restricted areas.
• Operate access-control systems, review alarms and alerts, maintain visitor logs, and report access irregularities or equipment concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting events accurately.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, access points, business areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
