Requirements
Must-Haves (Essential)
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience: 7+ years of dedicated Android application development experience.
- Core Languages: Expert-level mastery of Kotlin and advanced hands-on experience with Java.
- Architecture: Deep practical understanding of Android SDK, modern architecture patterns (MVVM/MVI, Clean Architecture), and design principles.
- DevOps & Delivery: Proven experience building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and version control (Git).
- Networking & Data: Demonstrated expertise with API integrations (REST/Retrofit), offline data handling, background processing (Coroutines, WorkManager), and mobile persistence.
- Testing & Quality: Solid experience with automated testing frameworks (JUnit, Espresso) and performance profiling tools.
Nice-to-Haves (Beneficial)
- Experience developing for specialized Android/POS hardware (e.g., Sunmi, Urovo).
- Hands-on familiarity with Jetpack Compose, Material 3, and Dagger Hilt.
- Experience with Azure DevOps and Azure Pipelines.
- Working knowledge of ObjectBox database and MS SQL.
- Relevant industry certifications across Android, Cloud, or DevOps.
