Part - Time Administrative Coordinator

The Land O’Lakes Supply Chain & Operations division provides strategic leadership across the company’s many business units.  The team plays a significant role in fueling revenue growth and profitability through operational excellence, quality, process improvement and innovation.  By partnering closely with Finance, Marketing and Human Resources, the team delivers value to Land O’Lakes business units, members and customers.

This role is part of our Purina Animal Nutrition business who serves producers and animal owners throughout the United States. We innovate nutritional products and practices that unlock the full potential of every animal for a healthier, more productive life.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Production reporting
• Inventory management
• Coordinating deliveries and pick-ups
• Involvement in office procedures that facilitate the production floor
• Actively participate in safety and quality programs in the plant

 

 Required Experience:

• 2+ years of administrative and/or clerical experience.  
• Ability to be pro-active and work both independently and collaboratively, while supporting multiple team members.  
• Must have a process-improvement mindset.  
• Effective verbal and written communication skills - keeping team members updated on status of requests.  
• Adequate knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to create Excel spreadsheets with basic math and graphs. Supply Ordering.  
• Ability to work under pressure to meet multiple deadlines and changing priorities.  
• Must maintain a high level of quality and confidentiality

 

Required Education: 

• High School diploma or equivalent

  

 

Preferred Education:

• Admin certification or 2 year degree is preferred or equivalent work experience.

 

 

Physical Requirements:

• Lift and or carry up to 30lbs

 

Pay Range: $23.00 pending experience

Shift: 8:00am-2:00pm, Monday-Thursday (24 hour work weeks).
