Delivery Lead – Revenue Growth Management (RGM) / Commercial Analytics
Role Overview
The Delivery Lead – RGM / Commercial Analytics will own end-to-end delivery of Revenue Growth Management programs for global CPG and Retail clients. This role sits at the intersection of commercial strategy, advanced analytics, and execution excellence, with accountability for pricing, promotion, assortment, trade investment, and net revenue management use cases.
The individual will be responsible for translating ambiguous commercial questions into scalable RGM analytics solutions, ensuring high quality delivery, measurable business impact, and strong senior stakeholder confidence. The role is also expected to contribute to practice building, account growth, and capability maturation within RGM.
Key Responsibilities
1. RGM Program & Delivery Ownership
Own end-to-end delivery of multi-workstream RGM and Commercial Analytics programs, spanning:
- Pricing & Price-Pack Architecture
- Promotion Effectiveness & Optimization
- Trade Spend & Investment Governance
- Assortment & Portfolio Optimization
- Net Revenue, Margin, and Mix Analytics
Responsibilities:
- Ensure delivery rigor across multiple clients, balancing priorities, timelines, and value realization.
- Partner closely with Data Engineering, Data Science, and Product teams to ensure RGM solutions are scalable, repeatable, and production ready.
2. Commercial Problem Translation & Solution Design
- Translate ambiguous commercial and revenue challenges into structured RGM analytics problem statements.
- Design RGM analytics frameworks aligned to client decision cycles (who decides, when, and how).
- Ensure solutions are actionable, not just analytical, clearly linking insights to pricing actions, promo levers, and margin outcomes.
- Strong understanding of how pricing, promo, and assortment decisions are made in market.
3. Senior Stakeholder & Client Leadership
Build credibility with senior commercial, finance, and category leaders through:
- Strong business context
- Clear storytelling of RGM insights
- Consistent delivery quality
Responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted RGM advisor, not just a delivery manager.
- Lead governance forums, value reviews, and roadmap discussions for RGM initiatives.
4. Team Leadership & Capability Building
- Lead, mentor, and grow RGM analytics teams (10–20 members) across analysts, consultants, and leads.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and capability uplift in RGM-specific skills.
- Embed best practices in RGM analytics delivery, documentation, and quality assurance.
5. Quality, Scale & Value Realization
Ensure high quality, scalable deliverables aligned to commercial KPIs such as:
- Net Revenue Growth
- Price Realization
- Promo ROI
- Trade Efficiency
- Margin Improvement
Responsibilities:
- Track value realization, not just output delivery.
- Drive standardization and reusability of RGM assets, models, and dashboards.
6. Practice & Account Growth
Support account expansion and conversion to sales through:
- Identifying new RGM opportunities
- Shaping solution approaches and proposals
- Contribute to RGM practice building frameworks, accelerators, POVs, and case studies
Experience & Qualifications
Must-Have
- 12 ± 1 years of overall experience, with 8+ years in analytics delivery.
- Strong experience delivering RGM / Commercial Analytics for CPG or Retail clients.
- Proven track record of managing multi-client, multi-workstream delivery programs.
- Ability to engage with business and technical stakeholders and connect analytics to commercial decisions.
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to derive insights that influence RGM outcomes.
Technical & Analytics Skills
- Solid understanding of commercial data models (pricing, promo, trade, mix & assortment).
- Working knowledge of cloud and data platforms: Snowflake, Databricks, Azure, AWS.
- Familiarity with data quality, governance, and access controls in enterprise RGM setups.
- Strong hands-on experience with BI & visualization tools: Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Qlik.
Domain Expertise (Highly Preferred)
Deep exposure to CPG / Retail commercial domains, including:
- Pricing & Promo Mechanics
- Trade Terms and Investment Structures
- Category and Channel Dynamics (Modern Trade, GT, eCommerce)
Additional Preference:
- Experience working with global or regional RGM teams is a strong plus.
