About Our Family
We are a dynamic, active household with two energetic boys in their early school years, two senior small dogs, and a home that is very much in full swing. We recently moved into our new home and are still settling in, with some corners of the house still catching up to where we want them to be. Life is full in the best way: school drop-offs, pickups, activities, and the ongoing puzzle of keeping a home running smoothly all add up quickly.
One parent is a physician working a demanding but structured schedule, and the other recently stepped back from a long career to be more present at home. We are intentional about how we spend our time and energy, and we are looking for steady, reliable support that allows us to be more present with our kids, tackle projects we actually enjoy, and stop playing catch-up on the basics. We love to host, travel, and make the most of our home, and we are ready to build a household rhythm that actually works.
Our household is warm, grounded, and values-driven. We care deeply about kindness, integrity, and creating a calm, organized environment where the kids can thrive.
Who You Are & What We're Looking For
The right person for this role is genuinely good at what they do and takes quiet pride in it. You are the type of person who walks in, reads the room, and gets to work without needing direction at every step. You are intuitive and proactive, noticing what needs to be done and doing it without being asked. Safety with children is at the core of how you operate, and you bring warmth and engagement to your interactions with kids while naturally knowing when to step back and let the household breathe.
You are not above any task. Laundry, wiping down a surface, putting away a delivery, or grabbing snacks before pickup, all of it fits into your day without complaint. You bring flexibility and a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude, and you genuinely enjoy the variety that comes with supporting a busy family home. You communicate directly and keep things professional. You understand healthy boundaries and approach this role as a trusted household professional.
Above all, you're accountable, receptive to feedback, and genuinely invested in being a trusted member of this family's support system. Bilingual Spanish speakers are warmly welcomed, though it is not required.
