- Maintain strong occupancy across stabilized assets while supporting market-appropriate rents and disciplined operating expenses.
- Support the stabilization of newly acquired properties by coordinating contractors, vendors, timelines, deferred maintenance, cosmetic improvements, and re-tenanting activities.
- Review property operating expenses and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Review monthly financial reports for accuracy and resolve discrepancies before reporting to ownership.
- Establish, document, and continuously improve workflows across property management, leasing, maintenance, bookkeeping, and related functions.
- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive or manual processes and implement technology solutions that improve efficiency.
- Evaluate and help implement new property management, reporting, AI, and automation tools.
- Stay current on property management technology and industry best practices and proactively bring new ideas to leadership.
- Manage projects from planning through implementation, ensuring timelines and responsibilities are clearly defined and followed.
- Train, support, and manage team members while maintaining clear accountability and high operating standards.
- Provide leadership with regular updates on property operations, challenges, priorities, and opportunities for improvement.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in commercial property management, ideally across industrial, retail, and/or office properties.
- Strong experience managing people, projects, and cross-functional workflows.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a highly organized, methodical approach.
- Strong financial literacy and comfort reviewing P&Ls, operating expenses, financial reports, and property-level performance.
- Demonstrated ability to identify inefficiencies and improve or automate processes.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to independently drive initiatives from start to finish.
- Excellent written and spoken English, with confidence communicating with tenants, vendors, team members, and ownership.
- Highly proactive and autonomous, with strong judgment and follow-through.
- Comfortable learning and implementing new technology, including AI and automation tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to bring structure to complex or evolving processes.
- Experience with Rent Manager is a strong plus, but specific software experience is trainable.
- Experience with Claude or other AI/workflow automation platforms is a plus.
- Experience evaluating or implementing technology to improve property management, leasing, marketing, or operational efficiency is highly valued.
