You're a problem-solver who's equally comfortable writing code and getting hands-on with hardware. You thrive on keeping complex, interconnected systems running smoothly, whether that means programming a new SCADA application, troubleshooting a network connection, or tracking down the source of a PLC fault. You take ownership of the systems you support, documenting your work carefully and backing up what matters because you know Gilbert's water and wastewater infrastructure depends on it. You're equally at home collaborating with your team and working independently to see a project through from design to deployment.
At Team Gilbert, we hire innovative, forward-thinking problem-solvers who love what they do! In addition to possessing the ability to live out our core and functional values daily, candidates must possess the following requirements:
- Associate's Degree or Two-Year Technical Certification
- Five or more years of experience in system programming, networking, and database operations, including experience with a computerized monitoring system comparable to SCADA, HMI, or PLCs (or an equivalent combination of experience and training)
- Valid Arizona Driver's License
- ADEQ Grade I Water Distribution or Wastewater Collections Certification within one year of hire
