Your Role
As a Manufacturing Engineer Machining, you are the technical expert for machining and manufacturing processes, industrialization activities, and New Product Introduction (NPI) projects in Eindhoven and Reuver. You translate customer requirements into efficient and scalable manufacturing solutions while ensuring alignment with Frencken's capabilities. Working closely with customers and cross-functional teams, you drive manufacturability, lead NPI projects from concept to production, optimize processes, and contribute to operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead manufacturability assessments and support RFQ activities.
- Act as the technical link between customers and internal teams.
- Lead NPI and industrialization projects from concept to production.
- Develop and implement manufacturing processes and related documentation.
- Improve production performance in quality, cost, delivery, and efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies.
- Resolve complex manufacturing issues and support engineering changes.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Program Management teams.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree (HBO) in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience in machining or high-tech manufacturing.
- Experience leading NPI and industrialization projects.
- Strong knowledge of CNC machining, manufacturing processes, and process optimization.
- Experience with PFMEA, Control Plans, and Lean Manufacturing.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proactive, hands-on, and focused on continuous improvement.
- Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
