Provides basic blood drawing procedures or experienced skill in capillary and venipuncture blood collection on patients in a patient unit, outpatient area, or laboratory environment under direct or moderate supervision.Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Draws blood on patients within Children’s and Barnes Hospitals by venipuncture or capillary sticks.
Applies sweat tests at supervisor’s discretion.
Transports specimens.
Performs other duties assigned by supervisor or Phlebotomy coordinator.
