About Team:
The Global Product Analytics team in India partners with product, engineering and business leadership teams to transform product and business data into actionable insights. The team supports multiple areas, including customer engagement, digital experience, merchandising, supply chain, financial services and operations.
We help define product success metrics, identify improvement opportunities and enable data-driven product decisions. Our analysts work with cross-functional stakeholders to uncover insights from large and complex datasets, improve customer and business outcomes, and help build impactful products for Walmart.
What you'll do:
Define product metrics, measurement frameworks and analytical roadmaps to identify opportunities for improving products and business outcomes.
Analyse large and complex datasets to uncover patterns, identify root causes and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
Use quantitative analysis to understand the key drivers of customer behaviour, product performance and business results.
Partner with product leaders, designers and engineering managers to evaluate opportunities and prioritize initiatives based on impact.
Conduct analytical deep dives to identify business problems, opportunities and the actions required to address them.
Collect, process and analyse data from multiple sources using SQL, Python, R or other analytical and statistical tools.
Design, execute and analyse A/B tests while driving analytical rigor and a strong experimentation culture across product teams.
Develop new analytical methodologies and scalable approaches to solve complex product and business problems.
Communicate insights clearly and persuasively through business reviews, presentations and executive discussions.
Represent the Product Analytics team in key stakeholder meetings and business reviews.
Actively leverage AI and Generative AI tools to automate repetitive workflows, enhance analytical productivity and accelerate the journey from data to actionable insights.
Demonstrate a strong bias for action and use analytics to drive measurable business impact.
What you'll bring:
6+ years of experience working in a high-growth analytics, product analytics or related data-driven environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field.
Strong proficiency in SQL, Python including the ability to independently query, transform and analyse complex datasets.
Good understanding of statistical analysis, experimentation and common pitfalls in data interpretation.
Experience in product analytics and working with product development teams is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate ambiguous business questions into structured analyses.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex insights to technical, business and executive stakeholders.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence decisions through data and insights.
