The opportunity:

AIA Australia are currently hiring for a General Manager, Vitality & Brand to lead the strategic growth and commercial performance of AIA Australia’s AIA Vitality proposition and enterprise brand strategy, strengthening AIA’s position as Australia’s leading health and wellbeing provider. This executive leadership role will drive customer engagement, wellbeing outcomes, brand differentiation and sustainable business growth through the integration of the AIA Vitality ecosystem, strategic partnerships, sponsorships and customer experiences. As the custodian of the AIA brand, the role will ensure a consistent and compelling market presence that supports customer acquisition, retention, advocacy and long-term value, while championing AIA’s purpose of helping Australians live Healthier, Longer, Better Lives.

To do this successfully you will:

• Define and execute the strategic growth agenda for AIA Vitality, driving member acquisition, engagement, retention and commercial performance across the business.
• Lead the evolution of the AIA Vitality proposition, ensuring it remains innovative, differentiated and aligned to emerging health, wellbeing and customer trends.
• Develop and optimise strategic partnerships, sponsorships and ambassador programs that enhance customer value, brand engagement and business growth.
• Act as custodian of the AIA brand, leading enterprise brand strategy and governance to strengthen market presence, reputation and brand equity.
• Partner with senior leaders across the organisation to embed Vitality and brand initiatives into customer, product, distribution and partnership strategies.
• Provide strong commercial, financial and operational leadership, ensuring effective governance, risk management, performance monitoring and return on investment.
• Build and lead a high-performing team while influencing executive, group and external stakeholders to deliver innovation, customer outcomes and sustainable business impact.

Successful applications will demonstrate:

• Proven executive leadership experience with extensive experience particularly in customer engagement, loyalty, wellbeing, brand, partnerships or commercial leadership roles.
• Success leading large-scale customer engagement, loyalty or membership ecosystems that drive customer value, advocacy and business growth.
• A strong track record developing and executing enterprise-wide strategies that enhance customer engagement, market differentiation and commercial performance.
• Expertise in building and managing strategic partnerships, sponsorships and complex commercial relationships to deliver sustainable outcomes.
• Highly developed commercial acumen with experience managing significant budgets, investment decisions and measurable business results.
• A proven ability to lead large, cross-functional teams and deliver transformational initiatives across complex stakeholder environments.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, with experience engaging executives, boards, regulators and external partners, ideally within financial services, insurance, health, wellbeing, loyalty or related industries.
