Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Staff Engineer Quality Engineering to lead and drive quality excellence within semiconductor manufacturing operations. The role is responsible for ensuring robust quality control deployment, sustaining production quality performance, managing non-conformance activities, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across assigned modules and packages. Your role Key responsibilities in your new role Ensure effective deployment of control plans and regularly review quality controls for relevance and effectiveness. Drive line sustaining activities through structured handling of non-conformances, including DDM, MRB, QMR, SCAR, and Red/Yellow Tag management. Analyze quality performance and lead improvement initiatives based on internal and external KPIs, SPC analysis, and Cpk monitoring. Moderate and compile 8D reports for internal and external quality complaints. Conduct regular production floor audits and ensure timely closure of audit findings. Review and maintain quality documentation, including specifications, FMEA, and related procedures, ensuring alignment with operational practices. Support in-process quality monitoring during New Product Introduction (Safe Launch) and process change activities (GCM). Participate in risk assessments related to internal and external non-conformances and process change projects. Lead End-of-Line (EOL) Production Quality activities and provide technical leadership in continuous quality improvement programs. Minimum 10 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing with strong knowledge of package manufacturing and quality systems. Good understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and packaging technologies. Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies such as FMEA, 8D, SPC, and Cpk analysis. Proven problem-solving skills with a structured and analytical approach. Knowledge of reliability assessment methodologies. Familiarity with IATF 16949 and/or VDA 6.3 requirements is an added advantage.
