Job Description

As a Security Officer Hospital Mobile Driver in Modesto, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, healthcare facility policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disruptive behavior, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate facility personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, including entrances, parking areas, corridors, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with facility procedures; assist with directing guests and reporting access-control concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Document observations, incidents, patrol activities, and security-related concerns accurately and timely in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
