Data Analyst

About the Role

We are looking for a Data Analyst to support data preparation and quality activities related to AI-based categorization models used across several European markets.

You will work with transaction data, prepare datasets for manual labeling campaigns, perform quality checks, and prepare the results used by Data Scientists to evaluate and improve AI models.

Key Responsibilities

• Review transaction data and ensure it meets required quality standards.
• Prepare and structure datasets according to agreed business rules.
• Create samples used in manual data-labeling campaigns.
• Perform quality audits and check that labeling decisions are applied consistently.
• Prepare campaign results and reports for Data Scientists and other stakeholders.
• Identify and communicate data-quality issues, exceptions and unclear cases.
• Escalate suspected fraud indicators, system issues or inconsistencies in business rules.
• Provide accurate progress and status updates for assigned work.
• Follow established procedures, confidentiality requirements and quality standards.
• Contribute to improving working instructions, processes and labeling guidelines.

Requirements

• Previous experience in Data Management, Data Analysis or a similar role.
• Good Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with VBA.
• Basic knowledge of Python.
• Power BI knowledge is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work accurately with large volumes of data and repetitive tasks.
• Ability to follow detailed rules and identify exceptions.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Reliable, flexible and delivery-focused approach.
• Fluency in English.
• Knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
