Job Summary:
Huisong is seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to expand our natural ingredients business in the United States.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in B2B ingredient sales, with experience developing direct relationships with manufacturers, particularly in the nutraceutical, dietary supplement, pharmaceutical, and food & beverage industries.
This role focuses on new customer acquisition, business development, and long-term sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with manufacturers that directly purchase and use ingredients in their production processes.
- Build and maintain relationships with purchasing, sourcing, R&D, and product development decision-makers.
- Achieve sales targets through new customer acquisition and growth of existing accounts.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and product introduction to quotation, negotiation, and order conversion.
- Understand customer needs and recommend suitable botanical extracts, herbal extracts, and other natural ingredients.
- Collaborate with internal R&D, Quality, Production, and Supply Chain teams to support customer requirements.
- Monitor market trends, identify new opportunities, and maintain accurate sales pipelines and forecasts.
- Represent Huisong at customer meetings, industry exhibitions, and trade shows.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 5-20 years of B2B sales or business development experience, preferably in the ingredients or raw materials industry.
- Experience selling ingredients directly to manufacturers, including dietary supplement, pharmaceutical, food & beverage, or contract manufacturing companies.
- Proven ability to independently develop new customers and achieve sales targets.
- Knowledge of botanical extracts, herbal extracts, nutraceutical ingredients, or related specialty ingredients is preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work independently and travel as required.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field, or equivalent relevant industry experience.
Travel: Domestic and occasional international travel required.
