Mining - Protection Services Superintendent

A Mining house based in the Limpopo region is looking for an experienced Protection Services Superintendent

Duties: 

Responsible for the effective operational management of all Protection Services activities, with the primary objective of safeguarding employees, company assets, mineral resources, information, and infrastructure, while ensuring the effective management of investigations and related security processes

Qualifications/Requirements: 

• National Diploma or Degree in Security Management, Policing, Risk Management, Criminology, or related field (Compulsory)
• PSIRA Grade A Registration (Compulsory)
• Postgraduate qualification, such as a Management Development Leadership Programme (Highly Recommended)
• At least 8 years' experience in Protection Services or Security Management within mining, heavy industry, or related sectors, including 3+ years in management
• Extensive experience in investigations, intelligence gathering, asset protection, and security risk management
