Warehouse Maintenance Technician I

Pay: $27.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

Job Summary

We are hiring a Warehouse Maintenance Technician I to help maintain warehouse equipment, building systems, and facility operations. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on mechanical experience who can troubleshoot equipment issues, perform preventative maintenance, and keep warehouse operations running safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate has at least two years of maintenance experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, lubrication, repairs, and troubleshooting on warehouse equipment.
• Complete scheduled preventative maintenance to keep equipment operating efficiently.
• Monitor and maintain building systems, grounds, and facility equipment.
• Identify mechanical issues and determine appropriate repair solutions.
• Coordinate with outside contractors and monitor maintenance work as needed.
• Maintain maintenance inventory and supplies to support cost-effective operations.
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and applicable regulations.
• Participate in continuous improvement and Lean initiatives within the warehouse.
• Assist with special projects and other maintenance duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of maintenance repair and preventative maintenance experience required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to identify problems and perform repairs effectively.
• Good organizational, planning, and time management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Equipment certification may be required.
