Description
Location: BGC
Work Setup: Hybrid, 3 Days WFH and 2 Days Onsite
Compensation Flexibility: Open to negotiation for highly qualified candidates.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Design, develop, test, and maintain integrations between Guidewire applications and external enterprise systems.
-
Build real-time, event-driven, asynchronous, and batch integrations using the Guidewire Integration Framework.
-
Develop and consume REST APIs and SOAP web services to enable reliable communication between applications.
-
Configure and support Guidewire messaging mechanisms and batch processing components.
-
Develop reusable integration components, services, and solutions to improve maintainability and development efficiency.
-
Implement and support integrations across Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter, Guidewire Digital Applications, and Guidewire Cloud Platform.
-
Integrate Guidewire applications with CRM platforms, payment systems, document management solutions, data warehouses, and third-party vendor systems.
-
Develop and maintain inbound and outbound integration interfaces based on business and technical requirements.
-
Build APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot, and work with API gateways and middleware platforms.
-
Apply integration patterns and service orchestration techniques to support enterprise application connectivity.
-
Prepare API specifications, technical documentation, and integration design artifacts.
-
Develop message-based integrations using JMS and the Guidewire Messaging Framework, and support event streaming through technologies such as Kafka and RabbitMQ.

Monitor asynchronous communication and troubleshoot message processing failures and integration issues.
-
Perform unit, integration, and system testing to validate integration functionality, reliability, and performance.
-
Support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), production deployments, and post-deployment validation.

Investigate and resolve integration defects, performance bottlenecks, and production incidents.
-
Support automated builds, deployment processes, CI/CD pipeline implementation, source control, and environment management.
-
Collaborate with Solution Architects, Integration Leads, business stakeholders, and development teams to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable integration solutions.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
-
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
-
4-8 years of experience in software development, API development, and enterprise application integration.
-
Hands-on experience with enterprise integration projects involving APIs, web services, messaging, or middleware technologies.
-
Experience developing and supporting integrations using REST APIs, SOAP web services, JSON, and XML.
-
Working knowledge of Java, Gosu, and Spring Boot for application and integration development.
-
Familiarity with the Guidewire Integration Framework, Guidewire APIs, and messaging mechanisms.
-
Knowledge of integration patterns, asynchronous processing, batch integration, and service orchestration.
-
Experience with one or more middleware platforms, such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Apache Camel, TIBCO, IBM Integration Bus (IIB), or Azure Integration Services.

Familiarity with relational databases, including Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
-
Working knowledge of version control, automated builds, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes.
-
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
-
Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and stakeholders throughout the development and delivery lifecycle.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

At least 2 years of hands-on Guidewire development or integration experience.
-
Experience working with Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter.

Exposure to Guidewire Cloud Platform and cloud-based implementation projects.
-
Familiarity with Guidewire Digital Applications and integrations with external enterprise systems.
-
Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, IBM MQ, ActiveMQ, or JMS-based messaging solutions.
-
Knowledge of Python for integration development, scripting, or automation.
-
Experience with AWS or Microsoft Azure cloud services.
-
Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD automation.
-
Exposure to the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain or insurance-related enterprise applications.
