Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Credential Check in Decatur, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and assist visitors and tenants with professionalism. You will use computer or tablet systems as needed while delivering responsive customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property management personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property interiors, exterior areas, parking facilities, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization as directed, and maintain accurate activity, incident, and patrol documentation.
• Communicate professionally with property occupants, visitors, law enforcement, and emergency responders while supporting a welcoming and orderly commercial real estate environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
