A rapidly expanding, wellness-focused fast-casual restaurant brand is seeking an energetic and experienced Kitchen Manager to lead back-of-house operations. Famous for scratch-made, chef-inspired cuisine and a high-energy culture, this concept operates with a mission to deliver vibrant food that is good for both people and the planet. As the operational leader of the kitchen, you will own shift execution, mentor rising culinary talent, and drive key operational and financial metrics in an empowered, people-first environment.
Compensation: $70,000-$80,000 (Commensurate with experience) + bonus (up to $5k), comprehensive healthcare, a great PTO plan, flexible schedule, 401k + match, and more!

Kitchen Manager Responsibilities:
- Maintain full operational accountability for back-of-house performance, including food cost, labor management, food safety, sanitation, and shift execution, while directing daily kitchen operations from the line.
- Lead, train, and develop kitchen team members and Assistant Kitchen Managers, establishing clear succession plans and providing coaching and performance management to resolve operational barriers.
- Build and manage labor schedules tailored to business volume, and oversee inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships to optimize labor and culinary costs.
- Drive local community engagement by supporting brand-sponsored marketing and local giveback initiatives.
- 3–4 years of culinary leadership and restaurant management experience, including proven experience overseeing subordinate managers, with a strong scratch-cooking and high-volume operations background.
- Demonstrated capability in leadership development, team coaching, and conflict resolution.
- Proficiency with back-office restaurant software, point-of-sale systems, inventory controls, and scheduling tools; ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain post-hire).
- Strong alignment with wellness, personal growth, open communication, and community values, and ability to pass a standard background check prior to employment.
