Description
Unleash Your Talents with Us!
Hi there, our future Data & Composition Developer! Happy to see YOU here.
Here at Integrated OS, you'll be part of a team of passionate individuals who are committed to delivering exceptional offshoring services. Bringing in an array of skills and talents from different areas of business from Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, Customer Service, and Marketing to Sales and Operations.
From humble beginnings, we have built our company from our first team member onwards. Initially, we were lending support to an Australian print manufacturer - The Lamson Group.
Since then, we have continued to uphold our core values and culture and developed a deeper understanding of how people need help to succeed in their goals. And YOU might be a part of this amazing growth as our team keeps growing above all expectations!
What you'll do:
The Data & Composition Developer builds, maintains, and runs the data processing and document composition jobs that produce Chandler CX's print and electronic communications. Chandler CX is responsible for a large portfolio of recurring, date-driven local government work such as rates and statutory notice, as well as large annual statement projects, banking institution communications, and other ad hoc work and major projects.
The role also improves the reliability of recurring jobs, reducing recurring production failures through validation, alerting and automated recovery, so that less developer time is lost to unplanned support.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
BAU production
- Develop, run, and maintain recurring production jobs.
- Act as a named primary or secondary developer on assigned jobs so each job has recorded coverage.
- Plan work against statutory and client lodgement dates, and escalate delivery risks early.
Data processing and composition
- Build and maintain SSIS packages and T-SQL for data import, transformation, and validation.
- Develop and modify Doc1 composition applications and templates.
- Produce print-ready output, including PostScript-to-PDF distillation, PDF manipulation, and Excel handling.
- Apply Australia Post requirements: presort, DPID addressing, sort order, enclosing barcodes and lodgement files.
Reliability and automation
- Analyse recurring job failures (import errors, interrupted file transfers, changed data formats, incorrect field values) and deliver lasting fixes.
- Re-enable or strengthen input validation so bad data is caught before processing.
- Convert attended production runs to unattended execution with alerting and automated recovery.
- Remove hard-coded cross-application references and improve job templates so new jobs do not inherit defects.
Production support and file transfer
- Investigate and resolve job failures, data issues, and client queries within agreed timeframes.
- Maintain SFTP transfers using key-based authentication and encryption.
- Record failure cause codes consistently, including failures caused by client-supplied data.
Documentation and knowledge sharing
- Document jobs, run procedures, and dependencies so another developer can run them.
- Share knowledge through handovers, peer review, and pairing.
Successful candidates must have:
Essential
- 3+ years' experience as a developer in a data processing, document composition or customer communications environment.
- SSIS: building and maintaining SSIS packages (SQL Server 2012 or later).
- C#/.NET: building and maintaining production applications, services and utilities.
- T-SQL and SQL Server: writing, tuning and troubleshooting queries and stored procedures.
- Data formats: working confidently with JSON and XML.
- Source control and delivery: Git and Azure DevOps (or equivalent), including work tracking and CI/CD pipelines.
- Composition: hands-on experience with Doc1 or a comparable platform (e.g. OpenText Exstream, Quadient Inspire).
- Print output: PostScript-to-PDF distillation and preparation of print-ready files.
- Experience working to fixed production deadlines with a strong focus on accuracy.
Desirable
- Postal: Australia Post presort, DPID addressing, sort-order, and enclosing barcode generation, and lodgement file production.
- PDF and Excel libraries: iTextSharp (iText 5), EPPlus or NPOI.
- Reporting: SSRS.
- Integration: REST API calls from .NET (RestSharp, Newtonsoft.Json) and SFTP automation.
- XSLT and XML transformation.
- Experience with local government rating, billing or statutory notice production.
- Basic HTML and email template knowledge
Work Arrangements:
- Schedule: 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Philippine Time)
- Work Setup: Work Onsite
- Location: Parkway Corporate Center, Alabang, Muntinlupa City
