Claims Consultant - Claims Advocacy (대리과장급)

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Claims Consultant - Claims Advocacy at Marsh. This role will be based in Seoul. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

As a Claims Consultant - Claims Advocacy, you will play a critical role in supporting our clients through the claims process, ensuring they receive the best possible outcomes. You will leverage your expertise in claims management and advocacy to provide strategic guidance, develop tailored solutions, and foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

We will count on you to:

• Advise clients on their rights and obligations under applicable insurance policies and provide technical claims guidance (고객사 대상 보험금청구 관련 자문 제공)
• Monitor insurer responses and engage with insurers and their professional advisers on moderately complex queries and policy coverage discussions to support a smooth review of claims for clients
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to facilitate timely and accurate claims processing
• Review insurance policy wordings and suggest improvements where appropriate, liaising with brokers
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers and internal business partners
• Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks that may impact clients

What you need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 3~10 years of experience in insurance claims (보험 클레임 경력자 - 손해보험사 보상 / 손해사정법인 등 대리과장급)
• Loss adjuster’s license is a plus (손해사정사 자격증 소지자 우대)
