What you'll do

You’ll be adding real value to the client agenda by being part of the frontline client team, delivering credit stewardship of debt solutions. You’ll assume prime responsibility for non-origination activities and actively manage the overall sector portfolio, considering risks, capital allocation and other commercial factors.

Other duties will include:

Additionally, you’ll be expected to have experience of line managing a team, alongside good knowledge of how best to coach and develop others.

Due to the nature of the role, it’s essential that you hold a Diploma in Lending Skills professional qualification or be prepared to work towards this qualification within the first 12 months of taking up the role.

We’ll also want to see:

  • Experience of analysing complex financial information and the ability to identify appropriate solutions
  • Good credit skills suitable for stewardship of SCM customer exposures
  • A deep understanding and significant experience in the application of risk management disciplines
  • A strong internal and external stakeholder network with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
