What you’ll do:
- The aim of this Bachelor thesis is to develop a design concept for laser welding of a Single Use pump head. The Single Use pump head exists and will be the starting point.
- Key design focuses areas: Adapt the design on 2 parts for laser welding.
- Develop a tool/fixture to be used when performing the laser welding.
- Develop laser welding recipes.
- Perform laser welding on prototypes
- Evaluation of the prototypes to meet the most important requirements, strength and integrity by tensile strength test and/or pressure test.
Who are you?
