Description

We are a premier skilled nursing and rehabilitation organization dedicated to transforming lives through compassionate, patient-centered care across Baltimore, Maryland. We are actively hiring dynamic Healthcare Marketers / Liaisons to support our growing operations across two distinct post-acute communities in the greater Baltimore area:

  • Location A: 135-bed facility operating at 95% occupancy
  • Location B: 156-bed facility operating at 70% occupancy

Across both locations, our dedicated interdisciplinary teams deliver personalized, seven-day-a-week recovery plans supported by advanced therapy technology and evidence-based clinical pathways. Recognized for clinical excellence and top-tier physical rehabilitation, our commitment to care empowers our staff to make a lasting, positive impact on every resident we serve.

As a Healthcare Marketer / Liaison, you will serve as the primary growth driver for your assigned Baltimore facility—whether your focus is sustaining peak occupancy and building specialized waitlists (135-bed site) or executing an aggressive census-building and market-expansion strategy (156-bed site). Blending strategic business development with authentic relationship-building, your core objective is to generate consistent, qualified patient referrals by establishing trusted partnerships with area hospital systems, physicians, discharge planners, and community healthcare leaders. You will guide families through the admissions process with empathy, conduct rapid on-site clinical evaluations, and utilize CRM metrics to hit and exceed targeted census goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute targeted marketing and business development strategies tailored to your facility’s specific census objectives and clinical capabilities.
  • Establish and nurture active referral pipelines with regional hospital discharge planners, case managers, social workers, health systems, and physician groups.
  • Act as the responsive, empathetic point of contact for prospective residents and families, navigating them through a seamless intake and admissions experience.
  • Conduct prompt on-site patient assessments and pre-admission screenings at partner hospitals and healthcare centers throughout the Baltimore market.
  • Partner closely with internal admissions, nursing, and clinical leadership to ensure rapid reviews, appropriate bed placement, and streamlined onboarding.
  • Monitor, record, and evaluate referral trends, conversion rates, and competitor dynamics using CRM platforms to optimize outreach efforts.
  • Represent the facility at community health fairs, professional networking groups, and industry events to elevate market visibility.
  • Provide transparent, informative guidance regarding facility services, clinical specialty tracks, Medicare/Medicaid regulations, and managed care coverage.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Social Work, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of healthcare marketing, community liaison, or admissions experience in skilled nursing, subacute rehabilitation, or long-term care.
  • Demonstrated success in building acute-care hospital referral networks and driving/maintaining census targets.
  • Solid operational knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial HMO/managed care reimbursement as it applies to skilled nursing admissions.
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, and relationship-management abilities.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, healthcare EHR platforms, and standard business productivity tools.

Compensation & Additional Pay

  • Base Salary Range: $130,000 based on experience
  • Incentive Compensation: Performance-based bonus structure tied directly to referral volume, conversion metrics, and facility admissions targets
