Description
Manage Aimbridge accounts receivable, corporate accounting, financial statement preparation and management. Management-level associates are expected to work as much of each workday as is necessary to complete their job responsibilities; for OEM associates, overtime does apply and is calculated accordingly.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance with at least 5 years of hands-on accounting managerial experience is required.
- Hospitality and/or Real Estate accounting experience is preferred.
- Public accounting experience is preferred.
- CPA certification is required.
- Proficient with general ledger systems, MS Excel and other analytical tools.
- Highly motivated individual that works well in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong managerial and organizational skills.
- Strong critical thinking/analytical ability and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate technical accounting issues with senior executives and/or external auditors.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee the consolidated month-end close process, which includes consolidation of foreign operations, preparation of consolidated financial statements and select balance sheet reconciliations.
- Ensure Company financial records are maintained in compliance with Company policies and US GAAP.
- Review monthly balance sheet and income statement variance analysis of actual vs budget/forecast/prior year/prior month.
- Produce monthly consolidated GAAP financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Assist Finance team with financial statements and support to comply with quarterly lender reporting requirements.
- Monitor to ensure that internal controls, policies and procedures are followed.
- Proactively identify and implement process improvements to increase accuracy and efficiency.
- Coordinate with Aimbridge external auditors on the annual audit of the books and records of the company. Respond to Auditor inquiries completely, accurately and timely.
