Drives initiatives to improve the effectiveness of the Engineering function and interfaces with other functions to provide effective coordination of metrics, dashboards, functional processes, and cross-functional initiative coordination. Essential Responsibilities:
- Continuously identify and resolve inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities across processes, projects, and execution activities.
- Provide Lean training and facilitate Kaizen events, Lean roadmaps, and Lean workshops.
- Establish, articulate, and operationalize the Lean roadmap and strategy into tactical actions aligned with overall Wind Engineering priorities, mobilizing change and achieving business results with a focus on Lean culture, tools, and systems.
- Drive Lean tool maturity and adoption as part of the operating philosophy, including value stream mapping, standard work, problem-solving, Kaizen, visual management, and daily management.
- Define and facilitate a process that provides effective visibility and flow of top fleet and field issues, ensuring the team focuses on the highest-priority actions.
- Develop Lean expertise and expand Lean culture within Wind Engineering.
- Partner with Wind Engineering executives and respective value streams to achieve SQDC objectives through operating reviews, roadmap execution, standard work, and daily management practices.
- Influence the leadership team and engineering organization to be accountable for Lean implementation and sustainable results through debate and effective communication.
- Serve as the wing-to-wing process owner and subject matter expert for closed-loop product improvement.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar field from an accredited university or college.
- Experienced Kaizen facilitator with a minimum of five facilitated Kaizen events. Including developing and facilitating Lean roadmaps.
- 8 years of related engineering experience with a minimum of 5 years of successfully managing programs/projects or driving continuous improvement initiatives.

- Strong influencing ability and perseverance through a multi-phase journey.
- Good understanding of Wind Engineering processes.
- Experience in engineering design processes and deep business acumen (business literacy, analysis, insight, and design).
- Proficient in Lean tools and techniques, including Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, 5S, and root cause analysis.
- Self-directed leader who can prioritize and manage multiple parallel projects, initiatives, and activities to deliver results.
- Effective in driving outcomes in large, globally matrixed organizations.
- Possesses complex problem-definition and problem-solving skills and aptitude.
- Serves as a change agent, able to advocate for lean principles and demonstrate immediate impact.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $113,200.00 and $188,800.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
