Job Description

As a Security Shift Lead - GSOC Monitor in Tempe, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will contribute to a welcoming environment while reporting observations and responding to security-related needs with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and employee authorization in accordance with established site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following emergency response protocols as appropriate.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Supervisory experience is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
