You will help improve inventory visibility and accuracy as Arrow continues transitioning to SAP.

You will work with the materials team and cross-functional partners to reduce excess inventory, prevent out-of-stock conditions, and improve reporting and planning processes. The ideal candidate has a manufacturing or distribution background and enjoys working with systems and data.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage inventory levels across product lines, warehouses, and distribution locations.
  • Maintain inventory targets, forecasts, and planning parameters by item, and track on-hand inventory against targets.
  • Build, maintain, and automate reporting on inventory, service levels, demand, warehouse balances, and transfers.
  • Support SAP transition efforts through data accuracy, reporting, inventory controls, and planning process improvements.
  • Support planning processes, including forecasting, MPS, MRP, and DRP.
  • Coordinate transfers between warehouses to maintain inventory balance and support service levels.
  • Analyze inventory levels and usage trends to identify excess inventory and stock-out risks.
  • Partner with manufacturing, purchasing, planning, warehouse, and operations teams to improve inventory turns.
  • Audit and correct system data to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Assist with training team members on inventory procedures, reports, and data entry.
  • Travel to warehouse or distribution locations as needed to support physical counts, audits, and process reviews.

Requirements

  • 4-year degree in business, supply chain, engineering, systems, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience considered.
  • 5+ years of experience in materials planning, inventory control, production planning, scheduling, or a related function.
  • Solid ERP experience required; SAP experience preferred.
  • Experience with AS/400, Query, PRMS, or other integrated manufacturing systems is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of inventory control, forecasting, MPS, MRP, DRP, and inventory turns.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience building reports and analyzing inventory data.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working with numbers, identifying gaps, and using data to support decisions.
