QA Test Analyst

Overview

Texas GovLink, Inc. is an Austin-based firm which has been a leading provider of technical and business professionals to clients in Texas. We are currently seeking an experienced QA Test Analyst to be a key resource on a technical services team.

Responsibilities

Duties will include:

Utilizing TxDOT templates alongside Generative AI prompting techniques to accelerate the creation of highly comprehensive testing-related documentation (e.g., Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Summary Memos).

Executing Test Plans and Test Cases through all phases of the testing process. Responsible for using UiPath Test Manager, Xray, or other Test Management tools to manage, track, and map test case execution to requirements.

Managing the Defect Management Process, to include defect identification, resolution, and tracking. Responsible for working with the vendor to ensure defects are resolved in a timely fashion.

Serving as the testing point of contact for development and 3rd party vendors on various projects to coordinate testing activities as required.

Providing Functional test support for newly developed products and/or features to existing products.

Providing support (coordination) for UAT efforts, utilizing TxDOT division staff (users) for test execution.

Utilizing AI-powered test case generation workflows to analyze complex business requirement documents (PRDs) and automatically decompose them into logical test matrices prepared for automation teams.

Attending daily status meetings/calls and providing accurate status on issues currently under test and any associated defects or blockers to the test process.

Facilitating Weekly Defect Triage Meetings (i.e., monitoring UAT defects, entering/reviewing defects, replicating defects, and communicating defects to the development team).

Manual testing Experience (e.g., System Testing, System Integration Testing, UAT, etc.)

Proficient in writing test plans, test cases, and other testing-related documentation

Facilitating/coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business users

Using Jira, or other Defect Management tools (e.g., Octane)

5

Xray, Zephyr, TestRail, or other standard Test Management software

Experience using UiPath Test Suite / Test Manager to design, link, and track functional test cases earmarked for automated execution.

Hands-on experience utilizing Generative AI tools (e.g., LLMs, ChatGPT, Claude) to accelerate test script design, scenario generation, and core QA text generation workflows.
