Description
Want to join a fast-moving company, work among convivial teams, and take part in the global growth strategy of one of the most prestigious and comprehensive portfolios in the wine & spirits industry? We are looking for a Global Direct Procurement Director fro the wet & dry goods category! You will be based at The Island, our office in central Paris.
Your key missions:
You will define a robust Global Dry Goods & Wet Goods procurement strategy and build the roadmap for each domain, in line with our four priorities: fuelling growth through cost & cash efficiencies; protecting the business through supplier risk management & duty of vigilance, sustainability & responsibility and security of supply; leveraging policy enforcement and agile teams; and innovating by accelerating access to innovation.
You will act as a strategic business partner to ExCom members and Function Heads on Dry & Wet Goods, influencing enterprise-wide decisions that impact direct spend and operating efficiency, and acting as an activator of efficiency programmes such as Footprint, DTSV and complexity reduction.
You will engage with senior leaders to shape the Global Pernod Ricard Dry Goods & Wet Goods procurement strategy and secure alignment across the organization.
You will initiate and prioritize the initiatives that maximize benefit, and monitor category budget and gross/net inflation to drive margin and cash improvement.
You will own the delivery of annual savings, cash and value-creation targets, and be accountable for procurement's contribution to Group efficiency programmes.
You will deliver the category's Sustainability & Responsibility commitments in support of the Group's sustainability agenda.
You will be accountable for executing negotiation strategies and category roadmaps.
You will define and monitor procurement KPIs across savings, cash, cost avoidance, spend under management, supplier performance, compliance and working capital, and develop deep market-intelligence capabilities that provide forward-looking insight on commodity markets, inflation trends, supplier dynamics and supply-demand evolution.
You will manage supplier risk and business-continuity strategies, ensure the resilience of critical supply markets, and anticipate geopolitical, financial and operational supplier risks.
You will build executive-level relationships with strategic suppliers and lead supplier-collaboration programmes that unlock innovation, resilience and competitive advantage.
You will accelerate access to supplier innovation and emerging technologies to support our growth, productivity and sustainability ambitions.
You will manage and develop the Global Category Procurement team, scaling up expertise and shaping a fit-for-purpose organizational model that delivers value to the business.
You will sponsor the procurement technology roadmap — Ivalua, analytics and AI-enabled capabilities — and drive adoption of digital procurement solutions.
You will continuously improve the Global Direct Procurement operating model, building a world-class organization and defining governance, decision rights and processes across Global Category and Proximity teams.
You will develop future procurement leaders and succession plans, and foster procurement capabilities across affiliates and corporate functions.
