Join ACCIONA and be part of a team delivering one of New Zealand's most significant transport infrastructure projects. The Northland Corridor Warkworth to Te Hana - Ara Tūhono project will enhance connectivity, improve safety and support regional growth, leaving a lasting legacy for future generations.

About the Opportunity
This role manages land access, planning and environmental compliance and documentation across ACCIONA's infrastructure projects. You'll report to the Environmental Manager and work closely with project delivery teams, legal, government agencies and landowners. You'll take ownership of approvals tracking, statutory compliance and documentation quality, giving projects the certainty they need to progress on time. This is an opportunity to work across a diverse and complex national portfolio rather than a single project.

Key Accountabilities

  • Manage land access and tenure requirements across projects
  • Lead the review and implementation of the project consent and approval strategy
  • Manage the preparation, lodgement, and processing of resource consent applications and related statutory approvals
  • Track compliance against approval conditions and legislation
  • Identify compliance risks and recommend mitigation measures
  • Liaise with regulators, councils and government agencies
  • Support engagement with iwi and mana whenua on land matters
  • Assist with preparation and review of environmental management plans and planning reports
  • Support project teams with land and approvals advice
  • Maintain accurate records and compliance registersa

Required Skills and Competencies

Capability & Experience

  • Degree in planning, environmental science or related field
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in land access, tenure or resource consents
  • Working knowledge of the Resource Management Act (RMA), RMA reforms, Auckland Unitary Plan and Public Works Act
  • Experience engaging with iwi, councils and government agencies
  • High attention to detail in compliance documentation
