The Four Seasons Resort Maldives is currently looking for a Demi Chef de Partie with expertise in Nikkei, Western, Peruvian Cuisine and who shares our passion for excellence and is enthusiastic about creating memorable guest experiences. The Demi Chef de Partie is part of a diverse and dynamic team that provides award-winning service to our valued guests. This position reports to the Executive Chef.

A Maldivian work permit will be provided by the resort.

Special Requirements:

• Has 3 - 4 years of relevant experience in 5 star Hotels/Resorts
• Passed O-levels
• Possesses excellent English, math and psychometric abilities
• Possesses aptitude and upward mobility.
• Technical education in Hospitality or Culinary school is preferred

Departmental

• Prepares mise-en-place
• Prepares food hygenically, timely and economically as per standard recipes and procedures
• Adheres to guidelines concerning consistency in taste and temperature, presentation, portion control and general quality of all food served
• Maintains high standards of food hygiene and storage as well as kitchen cleanliness

Departmental

• Assists in making food requisitions and daily market lists
• Ensure all mise en place and work station is complete prior to operation
• Accommodates the food servers' requests regarding guest preferences
