The Job

As a Junior Merchandise Planner, you will support the Football and Motorsport businesses through merchandise planning, stock management, forecasting, and allocation activities. While the Football scope is more focused on planning and commercial analysis, the Motorsport scope has a stronger emphasis on stock allocation, replenishment and operational execution. You will help ensure the right products are available at the right time, in the right quantities and in the right locations to drive sales and profitability across retail and e-commerce channels.

Your Mission

  • Monitor sales and stock performance, and support initiatives to improve sell-through and turnover;
  • Support the planning, monitoring and management of embellishment inventory (player name blocks, numbers and individual letters), ensuring optimal stock availability based on demand forecasts, sales trends and replenishment requirements.
  • Support allocation and replenishment activities, ensuring the right stock is available in the right channel, location, and timing based on sales trends, stock levels and business priorities;
  • Assist in forecasting and inventory management by analysing sales performance, stock availability and key business KPIs;
  • Execute stock allocation processes for the Fanwear business, monitoring stock movements, identifying allocation opportunities and supporting actions to maximize availability and sell-through.
  • Contribute to the range assortment with quantitative data to support relevant teams;
  • Assist in preparing reports and insights for trade meetings and business reviews;
  • Set trading and promotional strategies in collaboration with internal stakeholders.

Your Talent

  • Degree in business studies or equivalent and distinctive analytical, planning and commercial skills;
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in B2C Retail Merchandise Planning (ideally covering multiple channels);
  • Specific experience in planning and allocation environment is desirable;
  • Good analytical and numerical skills with strong attention to detail;
  • Strong experience in Excel (e.g., working with formulas, pivot tables);
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written;
  • Eager to learn, results-driven and proactive in taking on new challenges;
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills;
  • Knowledge of allocation or forecasting tools, or the ECR concept, is a plus but not required.
  • Motorsports & Football knowledge and interest would be an advantage.

This role is based in Den Bosch, the Netherlands. Working remotely from other countries is not possible.
