Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Registration in Boca Raton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Front Desk Security Officer, you will serve as a welcoming, professional presence at the location, assisting visitors, managing access, monitoring activity, and responding to security-related concerns. You will use communication and customer service skills to help support a secure environment while representing Allied Universal’s caring, reliable, and integrity-driven culture through teamwork.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Staff the front desk, greet and direct visitors, and maintain a professional, courteous presence.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor credentials as required, and document arrivals, departures, and other relevant activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Possess a state, county, or city-issued security-related license, preferred.
• Guard card is required. 
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
