The role is part of a high performing team centered on Finance transformation and becoming a best-in-class Finance organization. 

As a Financial Analyst, you will support your local finance operations team in various responsibilities such as reporting, project tracking analysis, month-end and quarter-end closing activities (journal entries, reconciliations, allocations, etc.) to help ensure the completeness and accuracy of the financials to meet targets and drive results.

As part of the Controlling Operations Transversal team, there will be many opportunities to improve processes and improve collaboration with your stakeholders to grow and demonstrate your analytical and interpersonal abilities.

This person will help to identify, design and implement new processes and ways of working as we transform the way Sanofi controls.

 

Main responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and support month-end and quarter-end closing activities, including preparation and review of accruals, journal entries, and master data management in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, TM1).

  • Apply knowledge in areas such as OPEX and CAPEX to ensure accurate financial reporting.

  • Ensure proper application of allocation methodologies and compliance with internal controls.

  • Assist in analysis of balance sheet items (e.g., accruals, prepaids, reserves) and provide substantiated justifications.

  • Support variance analysis and trend reporting to identify risks and opportunities for management review.

  • Collaborate closely with Controllers and A2R teams to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant financial close.

  • Support business partners with spend analysis, monthly accruals, and forecasting activities.

  • Provide financial guidance and education to non-finance stakeholders to promote compliance and financial literacy.

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with Sanofi’s standards for capital expenditure and asset tracking.

  • Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

  • Challenge existing processes and propose innovative solutions to improve financial operations.

  • Contribute to the development and dissemination of best practices across the region.

  • Continuously build financial and business acumen to support strategic initiatives.

About you

Experience:

  • ~ 3 year work experience in a related field.

Soft skills:

  • Must have high attention to detail, quality and proven ability to operate effectively under pressure and strict deadlines.  

  • Strong organization skills: ability to track and manage a high volume of projects at a detailed level. 

  • Ability to develop a rapport and credibility with key stakeholders. 

  • Ability to work effectively across international work streams. 

  • Demonstrated organization savvy and self- awareness.  

  • Adaptable and able to work in complex matrix environment. 

  • Change agent who can propose, lead, and drive changes. 

  • Motivated to grow in your career. 

Technical skills:

  • Advanced Excel skills.

  • Must be able to download data and use pivot tables, V-look ups, macros, etc.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills. 

  • Technology savvy, business orientation, and agile learning abilities required. 

  • Capable of working in multiple systems and tools. 

Education:

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance is required.

Preferred:

  • MBA and/or CPA.

  • Pharmaceutical and public accounting experience.

  • SAP, Ishift, S4/HANA experience.

  • TM1 experience.

The salary range for this position is :Ft9 120 000,00 - Ft13 680 000,00

Final compensation will be determined based on demonstrated experience, skills, location, and other relevant factors. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs.
