We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Scientist to join our Process Research Analytics team. This role provides analytical research services that accelerate innovation, enable robust manufacturing, and generate business intelligence through high-quality data and insights. You will partner closely with process chemistry, manufacturing, and cross-functional stakeholders to solve complex problems and drive measurable impact.

This position is part of the Essential Products business (Essco) within Animal Nutrition & Health (ANH). This is one of the two standalone entities to be created from ANH, as part of the divestment to CVC Capital.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Provide end-to-end analytical support for process chemistry and development activities, ensuring timely, accurate, and high-quality results.
  • Identify, evaluate, and translate new scientific ideas into proposals, experiments, and project plans that drive innovation in analytical sciences.
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot a broad suite of analytical instrumentation (e.g., GC, LC/HPLC, NMR, MS, IR), ensuring instrument readiness and data integrity.
  • Develop, optimize, and validate fit-for-purpose analytical methods using spectroscopic (NMR, IR) and chromatographic techniques (HPLC/UPLC, GC, LC-MS, GC-MS) to support process development and manufacturing.
  • Document experiments and analytical workflows, interpret results, and communicate insights through clear technical reports, presentations, and data summaries to enable decision-making.
  • Contribute analytical sections to regulatory documentation, technical packages, and patent disclosures as needed, ensuring traceability and compliance.
  • Work in full compliance with SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) standards, SOPs, and applicable legal and internal requirements.

We offer

  • Unique career paths across health, nutrition and beauty - explore what drives you and get the support to make it happen.
  • A chance to impact millions of consumers every day – sustainability embedded in all we do.
  • A science led company, cutting edge research and creativity everywhere – from biotech breakthroughs to sustainability game-changers, you’ll work on what’s next.
  • Growth that keeps up with you – you join an industry leader that will develop your expertise and leadership
  • A culture that lifts you up – with collaborative teams, shared wins, and people who cheer each other on.
  • A community where your voice matters – it is essential to serve our customers well.

You Bring

  • M.Sc. (or above) in Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in analytical chemistry supporting small-molecule process development and/or manufacturing (method development, validation/verification, and impurity characterization experience preferred).
  • Strong expertise in chromatography and spectroscopy, including MS and IR operation and data interpretation; experience with high-resolution MS and MS/MS fragmentation is a strong advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently plan experiments, solve complex analytical problems, and deliver actionable conclusions.
  • Strong scientific judgment and problem-solving skills; able to select fit-for-purpose techniques and design robust analytical strategies.
  • Collaborative team player who can also work effectively and proactively in a self-directed manner.
  • High ownership mindset with a strong commitment to quality, continuous improvement, and scientific rigor.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
